Our Timber frame structures are cut using eastern white pine, a rapidly renewable,non endangered wood species,
such as cedar, that holds up very well for exterior use as it has been used since early colonial times . Because they
are cut green, as with most timber frames, checking(splits in the wood) will occur. This "checking" does not
diminish the integrity of the structure whatsoever and only adds to the rustic beauty of the frame. All structures
are unfinished if left unfinished they will take on a beautiful weathered grey look. For additional $300.00 we will
gladly ship your pergola stained in any of the following solid or semi transparent colors.
Assembling your pergola is also a simple process. Each structure is dry fitted and drilled for pegs before leaving
our shop to ensure proper fit and ease of assembly. No complicated site preparation is required. Custom welded
1/4" steel post bases accompany each structure. A level area to place them on is all that is needed. This provides
several benefits. It makes installation simple,keeps posts out of the ground and allows for mobility if you should
want to move it .Easy to follow CLEAR instructions accompany every structure.
Delivery is included within 10 miles from the shop in Rochester,NH. Beyond that, a delivery charge of $1.75/ mile
